Remember to pray & read the entire passage before beginning.
“This is the day that the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
Even though each day may seem haphazard, or insignificant, difficult or down right awful … we can be certain that it was planned by our almighty and loving God. He prepared it for us for a purpose and we are called to be thankful for it! To rejoice, even! So no matter if you are battling a storm, fighting the mundane, or wading through uncertain waters – take time today to rejoice! Not because you feel like it or because it makes sense, but because He made today – and for that reason alone we can be glad!
- Today is the day! Take time now to rejoice and be glad.
May our lives be a song of worship to our amazing & loving God! May we take time each day to rejoice and be glad!
There are passages in scripture that give us a peek inside of heaven.
1 Corinthians 2:9 Revelation 21:22-27
Revelation 5 John 17:24 John 14:1-3
But, until the day He calls us home we will not know what it it will be like. What joy it will be to praise our Almighty God face to face!

“O God, be not far from me;
O my God, make haste to help me!“
Psalm 71:12 ESV
I have often thought about the “but God” moments in the Bible. Stories of seemingly impossible situations that God redeems in only the way that God can. But here we see the psalmist writing of dire circumstances. He is fearing for his life and being pursued by his enemies. Yet he maintains an attitude that we all should have when difficult events arise.
- What is his response in verse 14?
- We all have struggles. Write down what you are struggling with today.
- Then write … “but I” and write a praise to our Almighty God!
