Ask the Spirit to guide you as you read God’s word for today.
Mark 6:41-44

“Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to his disciples to distribute to the people. He also divided the two fish among them all. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces of bread and fish. The number of the men who had eaten was five thousand.”

Mark 6:41-44 NIV

Jesus here is our example. He gave thanks and God multiplied the blessings – they all were satisfied. Do you have trouble being satisfied? Waiting for what’s next…better…newer…different? Ask God to help you be satisfied where you are.
Give Thanks to God – for “Every Good and perfect Gift is from above.” James 1:17. Make a list of 10 gifts no matter how big or small that our Father in Heaven provided for you today!

Thank Him as you rely on Him to create contentment in your heart! I will be praying for you!

You are my Salvation

Psalm 118:20-21

Open for me the gates of the righteous;
I will enter and give thanks to the Lord.
This is the gate of the Lord
through which the righteous may enter.
I will give you thanks, for you answered me;
you have become my salvation.
Psalm 118:20-21NIV

Give Thanks to the Lord – He has given you Jesus – the gate to righteousness (John 10:9) the key to salvation.
Write a prayer thanking God for the gift of Jesus Christ and the salvation that comes through Him.

Allow the Spirit to work in your life as you thank God for the gift of your Savior! I will be praying for you!

Got Peace

Philippians 4:6-7

^”Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving,
present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7NIV

You are instructed not to worry about anything ! What are you supposed to do instead?
When you present your requests to God – what is the attitude you should have as you come before the Almighty Father in prayer?
What is the result if we come before Him with our prayers and a thankful heart?
Thank Him now…then lay your burdens at His feet and ask Him to fill you with His peace!

Allow the Spirit to work in your life as you lay down your burdens with a thankful heart! I will be praying for you!

In all Circumstances

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

“Rejoice always,pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances;
for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NIV

1 Thessalonians 5:18 instructs us to be thankful in ALL circumstances. Is there something in your life that is difficult, are you asking God – why me? Write it down and then thank him for it…God promises in all things He works for the good of those who love and serve Him.
Write a prayer asking that He would reveal the purpose of this trial and His guidance as He grows you through adversity.

Allow the Spirit to work in your life as you thank Him in every circumstance! I will be praying for you!

Confess and Believe

Ask the Spirit to guide you as you read God’s word for today.
Romans 10:9-13

“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord
and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 10:9 ESV

What does v. 9 say about your path to salvation?
What does it mean to you to have your justification (God pronouncing you righteous) come through believing with your heart – is it different from believing with your mind?
What must accompany the internal change of heart (v. 10b)?
Ask the Spirit to help you, and use this passage as a guide to write a confession of faith.
Then pray it out loud!

Pray that the Holy Spirit deepens your faith in our awesome God and His Son who came to save you! I will be praying for you!

Where does your help come from?

where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.”

Read all of Psalm 121. Take it all in! Absorb it! Rejoice in it! Where does your help come from?

Pray that the Holy Spirit will work in your heart as you trust in the Lord ! I will be praying for you!

Hope in the Lord

Rewrite this passage in first person.
How has the Spirit moved you as you put your hope in the Lord.

How are you to trust the Lord?
What are you told not to do?
What is the result if you Trust in the Lord?
What do you need to trust God for today? Give it to God and ask for His wisdom and guidance.

Gains & Losses

What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ”
Philippians 3-:7-9 NIV

How do you look at your gains & losses. With a heavenly view or an earthy one. Comment on what your perspective is & what perspective God desires you to have.

Pray that the Holy Spirit will open your eyes to see what is true gain – the surpassing worth of knowing Jesus ! I will be praying for you!

Philippians 1:6

will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 1:6 NIV

He’s not finished with you yet! When you became a follower of Christ – He began His good work in you. Write about the changes that you’ve seen in your life as you seek him.
Can you see any parts of your life that need some shaping. Give them to God here and ask Him to guide you through the process of transformation.
