  • Ask Him now to completely clothe and equip you to love the way He has called us to love.

  • God’s love for you is unconditional. Is your love for God unconditional?
  • Think about what it means to love unconditionally. Write down what that looks like.
  • You are not in this alone. God has given you His Spirit that dwells in you…a Helper! How are you going to live your love for God today?

  • List the reasons given in this Psalm for you to sing praises to the almighty God.
  • Praise Him for His strength (see also John 16:33, Philippians 4:13, Romans 8:31b).
  • Praise Him for His steadfast love (see also 1 John 4:10, Romans 8:38-39).
  • Praise Him that He is your fortress and refuge (see also Matthew 11:28, and Deuteronomy 33:27).

  • Is there anything/anyone that should come before God in our list of what we love?
  • Have you put anything or anyone in front of God on your list? Ask God to show you what you need to change to reflect Jesus’ command – write it down!
  • Jesus also tells us about the importance of loving one another. How does Jesus tell us we need to love our friends, family neighbors, or even enemies?
  • Take time to pray and ask God to reveal how you can love better. What did He stir in you? Write it down and then live it!

  • God gave His only Son that you might have life in Him. That through Him you would come to eternal life! Praise God!

Accept this wonderful gift! God gave you His son and the gift of Eternal life in Him!  I will be praying for you! 

Advent – God’s Gift Day 21

 Pray & ask the Spirit to guide you as you read God’s gift for today.
Hebrews 4:14-16

“Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.  For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
Hebrews 4:14-16

  • Approach God’s throne of Grace with confidence! We have a high priest who understands our weakness and need. When you draw near to Him we will find grace and mercy.
  • Picture yourself walking in to God’s throne room – Jesus is leading you in. He alone makes you righteous, able to come before the Almighty! What thoughts and feelings does this bring to mind?

Accept this wonderful gift! Through Christ, you can approach God’s throne of Grace  I will be praying for you! 

He is worthy of your Praise
