Take Time to read 1 Peter 1:3-5

His power is being used for You and for all those who believe. He is an awesome God.

WRITE

Power Grid

TAKE TIME TO PRAY BEFORE YOU BEGIN…

We can see God’s power all around us. In His creation, and we read through the Bible, when we see Jesus,  as we look at our own lives. Think about the power grid that supplies us the energy we need to light up our homes. It is the same with God. He is our eternal power! Ask that God would reveal His power to you. That you would be able to see and understand more about how “he upholds the universe by the power of his word.”

WRITE

  • Take time now to write about where you see His power today.
  • Look back over your life – where has His power been most evident in your life.
  • You can be certain that whether you are aware of it or not – His power is holding the universe now and always. Take time to praise Him now for His unfailing power.

GROW

He is what gives us life, strengthens us, energizes us – He is our power.  Praying that His power would be manifest in you today.

Power-Full

Psalm 63-35

TAKE TIME TO PRAY BEFORE YOU BEGIN…

It is really impossible to comprehend God’s power! But we are told that we can see it simply by looking at His creation (Romans 1:20). He maintains all power – as He is sovereign over every grain of sand, every drop of rain, every hair on your head and every event in your life. Power is both a thing and an action. We can can have power or power can propel us forward. After looking up the word in the dictionary power reveals itself in three different forms – Control   Strength   Energy. Isn’t that at little glimpse of God – Control…Strength…Energy?

WRITE

Here are just a few verses that speak of God’s power.
Really I think I could  suggest to see God’s power read Genesis 1 – Revelation 22.

Genesis 1   Romans 1:20   1 Corinthians 2:4-5
2 Corinthians 4:7   Colossians 2:12   Micah 3:8 Hebrews 1:1-3   Luke 9:37-42

  • His power is all encompassing. Pick a favorite verse about God’s power and write about how and why it impacted you.
  • Take comfort in knowing that He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world. Where in your life do you need to claim His power.
  • When you come to know Jesus the Spirit of the living God dwells in you. It is this power that equips and enables us to overcome (Colossians 2:12). Write down – the Power of God dwells in me and I claim His power over______.

GROW

We are merely human – imperfect and powerless. Yet… His Spirit in us – now that it power. This is a beautiful song about exactly that. Jeremy Camp – Same Power.

My His power enable, equip and guide you as you trust in Him!  Praying for you…

You Were – But God

Ephesians 2-8

TAKE TIME TO PRAY BEFORE YOU BEGIN…

So often here on earth “free gifts” are not so free. I think of all the offers that require us to buy something to get our free gift. It really isn’t free! But here Paul explains that our salvation is free! It is a gift! It is God’s unmerited favor! Stop feeling like you have to earn it. Accept the gift – then live in faith like the new creation that you are!

God is Grace – Full

Definition of Grace

TAKE TIME TO PRAY BEFORE YOU BEGIN…

Think about God’s grace and how deep and wide it is! God is grace-full! His grace is completely abundant and completely undeserved. It is a gift which we can never repay… but one that we can seek to honor as we are changed by Him from the inside out.

WRITE

There are so many many verses that speak of God’s grace.
Here are a few you can use to help see the picture of God’s grace
& I challenge you to seek some more.

  • Do these passages open up your understanding of God’s grace? Write down some of the words that really spoke to you.
  • His grace fills the entire Bible from the beginning to the end. It really is too much to comprehend. But it is truth! It is His free gift to you! Awesome! Take time to praise Him Now!
