Mark 6:41-44

“Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to his disciples to distribute to the people. He also divided the two fish among them all.  They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces of bread and fish. The number of the men who had eaten was five thousand.”

Mark 6:41-44 NIV

  • Jesus here is our example. He gave thanks and God multiplied the blessings – they all were satisfied. Do you have trouble being satisfied? Waiting for what’s next…better…newer…different? Ask God to help you be satisfied where you are.
  • Give Thanks to God – for “Every Good and perfect Gift is from above.” James 1:17. Make a list of 10 gifts no matter how big or small that our Father in Heaven provided for you today!
