1 Chronicles 16:8-10

“Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name;
make known his deeds among the peoples!
Sing to him, sing praises to him;
tell of all his wondrous works!
 Glory in his holy name;
let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice!”

• What does this passage tell you about how we are to praise the Lord – what are some ways it points out?
• List some of His wonderous works in your life and think of some ways you can “make them known among the people”?

“So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God,  
for whoever has entered God’s rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.  
Let us therefore strive to enter that rest,so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.”

2 Corinthians 4:13-15

^” Since we have the same spirit of faith according to what has been written, “I believed, and so I spoke,” we also believe, and so we also speak,  knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and bring us with you into his presence.  For it is all for your sake, so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God.”
2 Corinthians 4:13-15

• What has Paul believed and speaks about?
• God will bring us into His presence – Awesome! What does this passage tell us about our reaction to this amazing grace?
• As more and more accept the free gift of God’s grace what is the result?
• Who can you reach today with the message of God’s amazing grace so that thanksgiving may increase?

Pray about who God wants you to reach out to today – then be obedient! I will be praying for you!

Daniel 6:7 & Daniel 6:10-28

“He got down on his knees three times a day and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as he had done previously.”
Daniel 6:10

• What will be the earthly consequence for Daniel if he prays to the one, true and living God?
• Did Daniel know what the consequence was before he got down on his knees?
• Still, what did he do?
• He gave thanks to God despite his circumstances. How do you react when the world seems to be crashing in on you?!
• Are you ever afraid to speak/do God’s truth because you fear the consequences? What does Daniel’s life show you about the action you can take?
• In this story, who ultimately has victory?
• In the end, even King Darius declares the glories of the living God! What does that reveal to you about what God can reveal to the world if you live a life that honors Him?

Kneel before the Almighty and praise his holy name – he is worthy! I will be praying for you!
