Ask the Spirit to guide you as you read God’s word for today.
Read James 1:19-25
As much as God desires us to study His word and grow to know him, he longs for so much more.
Do not merely listen to the word,
and so deceive yourselves.
Do what it says.

- In verses 19-21 we are given instruction regarding the righteous life God desires. What are the characteristics James instructs us to know?
- We are instructed to be doers not just hearers! Paraphrase verses 22-25.
- What do you need to do today to honor God and follow His word in your life?
