Proverbs 1:1-7
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.”

- What does this passage tell us about the purpose of the book of Proverbs – make a list.
- If we are to gain knowledge in any way – where does it start?
- Why do you think that knowledge begins with the Lord (see also Genesis 1, James 1:5-8)?
- Write a praise thanking God for giving you knowledge and ask Him to help you to grow in your knowledge of him & to understand what it truly means to fear the Lord?
