Psalm 7

“God is a righteous judge.”
Psalm 7:11a

  • Do you ever want to take justice into your own hands?
  • Here David is being pursued by Saul and his life is in danger. David is innocent…he cries out to the Lord, what does he ask for?
  • What do Psalm 7:10-13 tell us about God’s justice?
  • Read 1Samuel 24. David is given the opportunity to take justice into his own hands. Instead, what action does he take?
  • How does David conclude his Psalm?
  • Are you feeling pressed upon, pursued, does evil feel like it’s lurking? Romans 12:19 says it clearly,”Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God , for it is written, ‘Vengeance is mine, I will repay says the Lord.'” Write a prayer to God Almighty, put it in His hands today!
