- Reflecting on each of these different translations there is no doubt what we are called to do. Restate it in your words.
- So… the question is… What is good?
God is good!
“For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.” Psalm 100:5
- So… how do we cling, cleave, hold on for dear life to our Lord our God? Read Deuteronomy 6:4-9
- When we do what is the result? James 4:8
- It is not just us reaching out for Him, but it is our loving God who reaches out to us. Write a reaction.
- In clinging to God, we also reject what opposes Him. Is there anything that has crept into your life that is preventing you from holding fast to what is good? Confess it now.
- By the blood of Jesus Christ you are forgiven. Now what can you do in your life today to cling a little more closely to the Lord? Read your Bible, Listen to Christian Music, Read a Christian Book, Pray with a friend… ask the Lord to direct you. Then start today!
He is faithful… He sent Jesus to redeem us so that we can have a relationship with Him. Don’t take it for granted… “hold on for dear life.”
